Congratulations to Catherine Taaffe, who competed in the New York half marathon yesterday in the 65-69 division. Catherine was tested after she fell around the 6 mile mark and sprained her hand. However, she demonstrated awesome mental toughness by completing the remaining 7.1 miles. She is probably the only runner who has a swollen hand after running the half marathon -but she also has a medal and our congratulations! Way to go, Catherine.
