The indoor complex at Princeton Racquet Club consists of six cushion deco turf hard courts. Court 1 (fondly referred to as “the barn”) is one of the oldest indoor courts in the area. The court is also lined for two pickleball/badminton courts – 1A and 1B. Enjoy your lesson or game on this private court. Courts 2-6 are in the main building. Court 2, formerly a chapel for the 7th Day Adventist, is another private court and is a favorite for group lessons and the 10 and under program. Courts 3-6 are considered the “main courts”
You can play tennis at PRC at a regular weekly time (contract), on an open court, or by participating in one of the numerous programs conducted each week at the club. Everyone who plays at PRC is automatically a Member (free) and must create an account on CourtReserve. Players have the option of joining as a Premier Member to receive discounts on court reservations, lessons, events and the Pro Shop and other benefits. The membership year is August 1, 2023-July 31 2024, Premier Membership: Adult ($55); Junior ($40) and Family ($100) – includes tax.
Seasonal Contract and Hourly Rates (2023-24)
Seasonal contract court time affords players the opportunity to play weekly on a scheduled day and time during the main indoor season (September – May). A designated court captain must submit the application with one check or credit card for the $300 (nonrefundable) deposit by March 21st. PRC will create a schedule for your round-robin matches if the full deposit is received. Courts that have not been reserved by March 21st will be available to people on the waiting list or players who would like to switch their day/time.
The season will run 32 weeks beginning on September 5, 2023. Seasonal contracts will be suspended on Thanksgiving Day and from December 24th to January 1st. Open court time will be available at a holiday rate. All players must and sign a PRC Waiver Form.
Premier Members may reserve open courts (when available) up to seven days in advance at a rate of $2/hour more than the seasonal contract rate. Members may reserve courts up to 5 days in advance at a rate $4/hour more than the seasonal contract rate.
