Registration Information- Registration starts August 1st

Please register by:

  • Visiting the front desk
  • Online registrations will be accepted starting on August 1st.

  • Calling PRC (732) 329-6200 with credit card information
  • Faxing (732) 329-0912 -  faxes received over the weekend will not be processed until Monday morning
  • Mail to Princeton Racquet Club, 150 Raymond Road, Princeton, NJ 08540
  • Students registered in Session 1 will have priority registration if they register by November 20th for 2nd session.

Classes are for 14 weeks.  Registration may be reserved with payment in full. 
NO REFUNDS, NO EXEPTIONS.


There is a minimum and maximum for each class.  Students who do not meet the skill requirements for a class will be required to switch to a class recommended by the pro staff.   Switching classes will be subject to a $15.00 administration charge (per switch if not a result of pro recommendation).   

Credits for absences due to medical reasons (2 or more weeks) will be granted  with verification from a physician.


No black bottom or marking shoes will be allowed on the courts.

Junior Class & Level Descriptions

  • PeeWees (4-6 yrs):  Introduction of basic movement and coordination skills; sending and receiving skills with hands and adaptive equipment, emphasis on fun. (19-21” racquets)

  • Beginners (6-10 yrs):  Continued development of balance and movement skills with receiving /sending skills and games (tennis related).  Rallying skills with modified serving motion (21-23-25” racquets)

  • Beginners (10-16 yrs):  Development of rallying skills, judging a ball and consistency.

  • Advanced Beginner (10-16 yrs):  Increased movement and balance skills, placement, and ability to play with a full or modified serve.  Should know basic court positioning and introduction to spins.

  • Intermediate (10-16 yrs):   More emphasis on spins, depth, and shots from all over court to complete game (overhead, transition, serve, return).  Shot selection and court positioning will be emphasized.

  • Tournament Training:  Ball control exercises that emphasize consistency, direction, depth and spin, recognition of offense/defense, slice/flat serves and participation in tournaments. Knowledge of rules and mental toughness.

  • High School Prep:  Same as tournament training except this player is practicing to make the high school team (must be a freshman or older).  Sound stroke mechanics.  Singles and doubles strategy/match situations. 

  • Varsity:  This player is a member of the high school varsity team.  Specializing in singles/doubles, positioning, shot selection and movement.  Footwork, conditioning and mental toughness.

  • Elite:  This player is a sectionally or nationally ranked player.  Student must be approved.

Junior Leagues,  Playdays and Tournaments

These programs provide competitive opportunities for youngsters to try and practice the skills learned in the clinics. Boys and girls will compete in singles and doubles.
