CO-VID 19 Guidelines

Effective 2/21/22  The indoor mask mandate in South Brunswick has been lifted.  We are so happy to open our lobbies.  Unvaccinated people and people who have been exposed to CoVID should wear masks.

Princeton Racquet Club reopened on May 22, 2020 for outdoor play and on June 22 for indoor play.  The club has implemented Phases to Reopening, using guidelines recommended from the CDC, State of New Jersey and tennis industry.  We have created policies regarding masks and social distancing,  installed equipment such as exhaust fans, portable hand washing stations and plexiglass partitions, redesigned instructional and competitive programs, entrance/exit patterns, and adopted CourtReserve, a online registration platform for court and program reservations, without transactions at the front desk.

The latest PRC CoVID Guidelines  have been revised effective 9/7/21.   Thanks for your cooperation in providing a fun and safe tennis experience for everyone.  All players are required to create an account on CourtReserve and sign a PRC Waiver Form prior to play.  The tennis clubhouse is open with limited occupancy:  PRC front desk, pro shop and restrooms.  Masks are no longer required outside (optional) but are required inside the tennis clubhouse.  Players and students should check in at the front desk prior to going to the main courts. Showers and towels are not available.

The traffic pattern for the main courts remains in effect which was implemented to assist with social distancing and safety.  All players and students can continue to enter the main courts from the left side of the courts and leave the courts through the outside exit door behind court 4 or through the lobby.   We appreciate your help and cooperation.    Please maintain social distancing (at least 6′) at all times.

PRC is pleased to announce that several exhaust fans have been installed to increase ventilation on the indoor courts.  The “barn” (court 1), in addition to the side outside doors, has a large fan behind the court.  A new fan was added at the end of Court 2, in addition to the existing side fan.  On the main courts, a new fan was installed between Courts 3 and 4, which complements the two existing fans adjacent to Court 6.  The fans may add a bit of noise to the courts, so be sure to say the score loudly.   The courts may be a little cooler with the additional ventilation and use of the exit door,   Please dress accordingly.  Thanks to Den and Nelson for their help in making the club a safer place to enjoy tennis.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.  Let’s work together so we can play together safely.
