Flexible Friday!

Friday’s uncertain and scattered rain created lots of tennis events on the indoor courts.  Women’s match plays, game drills, summer tennis camp including Pickleball, private lessons and USTA Sectional League Championships were held on the courts throughout the day.  Lots of action everywhere – gotta love indoor courts!

Marvelous Monday

We were treated to a beautiful Monday morning and had a colorful group participate in the match play at 9 am.  Great competition and focus today.  Thanks everyone for participating.

Huge Turnout on a Beautiful Friday

Fun at Carnival

    Carnival is one of the juniors favorite activities at PRC Summer Camp.  Campers earn tickets by achieving tasks and then check their ticket numbers for prizes at the conclusion of camp.  So much fun!

Pickleball Fun at Junior Camp

Junior campers had a blast playing some pickleball on a rainy morning on court 2.  The teaching pros demonstrated positioning, tactics and explained the scoring and rules.  Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the US.  It is very fast and can improve tennis player’s net play and reactions.

Bergers on a Rainy Day

The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the women at Monday match play this morning.  Indoor play means more chances for winners and Berger points – that is, getting the opportunity to play for Berger cookies, the official cookie of Baltimore.  Chocolate sure brings out the best in some of our players!

PRC Pacers Compete at Districts

The PRC Pacers competed at the NJD District 3.0 18 and over Championships yesterday at Veterans Park and lost to a very strong team.  Congratulations to the guys for being the Local League Championships and thanks to Edwin, captain of the team.

Strong Finish for PRC Jersey Girls

The PRC Jersey Girls played their final match against the undefeated CVCC Lucky String and served them a 3-2 defeat.  Competition was so close at the NJD District 3.0 18 and over Championships that all six matches were determined by a score of 3-2.  Two tiebreaker points literally decided every team match.   What a…
