Perfect Night for Aces

Congratulations to the PRC Aces, for their victory over the PRC Sweet Spots. Both teams are competing in the USTA 3.0 40 and over League on Monday evenings. The matches were well played with great effort and competitive spirit. The PRC Sweet Spots are shown with Coach Mansour.

RIP Esther Kaliski

It is with sadness that we share the news of Esther Kaliski’s passing. Esther was a long time friend and team captain to so many women’s teams. There will be a service at St Cecilia’s Church, 19 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Jct on Saturday at 11:00 am. We will cherish all of the fond memories we…

Thanks Pat and Roger

Rather than throwing out their old kitchen cabinets during a remodeling project, Pat and Roger Klein offered them to PRC. With Judy’s vision and Nelson’s handiwork, the kitchen looks much nicer. Thanks so much Pat and Roger.

Ready for Pickleball

Nancy and Ellen are ready to try Pickleball at PRC. As of now, there is an outdoor court in the parking lot. Pickleball will be available during the indoor season from 2:00-3:30 pm on weekdays starting in September. More details to follow.

Top Prize at Carnival was Fun

Camp Carnival

The junior campers had a terrific week of fun, making new friends, and learning and improving tennis skills.  Smiles and  laughter were plentiful and the kids played inside almost the whole week (staying out of the sun and relaxing in the ac lobby during breaks and lunch).  The summer’s first camp carnival was held on Friday and…

More fun than the Gym!

Can’t decide if you should go to the gym or play tennis?  Try Game Drills- PRC’s version of CardioTennis. Coach Mansour keeps everyone moving while drilling with points and playing games. Lots of fun, good workout and practice strokes. Game Drills are offered during the weekdays, evenings and on weekends. Reserve a spot at the…

It’s not Too Hot for Game Drills!

While the campers (children) were playing tennis indoors, women participating in singles match play, 4.0 drill and 3.0and 3.5 clinics worked hard outside in hot temperatures.  Also impressive was the group who moved consistently under Mansour’s direction. Kudos to Catherine, Kiu Ling, Lorraine, Michelle, and Sandy.

Friday Singles Match Play is Hot!

Singles Match Play

The second week of singles match play was a huge success.  Players have expressed appreciation for all of Coach Judy’s tips and the opportunity to meet and play other singles players.  Email Judy if you are interested in playing next Friday.

Benched at PRC is a Good Thing!

Cos and Judy, and all of the staff, campers, league participants, tournament competitors, and students are appreciative for the beautiful new, green benches that are Courtside on the hard courts. Special thanks to Helena Carr for her thoughtfulness and generosity. The next time we see Helena, we hope it will be on tv while attending…

Best wishes to Mine

Judy gave a little extra hug to Mine today. Prayers and best wishes to our friends in Turkey. Safe travels to Mine, who will be visiting her family next week.
