Students aren’t the only ones who can improve by getting better. PRC Coaches Mary Beth Matuszewski and Derek Gillespie participated in the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) 11-17 Development Workshop and Certification held at the club on Saturday and Sunday, led by clinician Marc Stingley. Both Mary Beth and Derek are already certified in 10 and under and now will even be more experienced to coach the summer campers and students this fall. Thanks to both of you, as well as all coaches, who dedicate themselves to learning and help their students reach their full potential. Coincidentally, Dennis Van der Meer, the PTR founder, passed away this weekend. It was Dennis’s dream to help all tennis instructors be their best, to help the student be their best.
