At Home With PRC, Episode 60

Did you practice your grips yesterday?  Today, we identify the strokes that match the five grips we showed yesterday.  The backhand (white) is used for the one handed backhand groundstroke.  The continental (blue) is used for serves, overheads, volleys, drop shots, approach shots, under spin groundstrokes or chips and the two handed backhand.  The eastern forehand (orange) grip is used for the traditional forehand groundstroke.  Using the semi western or hybrid (green) for the forehand or swinging volley will impart more topspin than the eastern grip. The more grips that you use, the more variety you will be able to have on the court.  Switch your grips and notice how the angle of the racquet head changes.  Be well.
