PRC Jersey Slammers 3.5 Sectional Champions
Tonight starts the first match of the new USTA 4.0 Men’s 18 and over League at PRC between the PRC Bagel Boys (Captain Colton van Mol ) and the Princeton Knights (Captain Shadab Hussain). This inaugural league was started by PRC to provide 4.0 men the opportunity to compete in USTA team matches over the fall and winter on Thursday evenings. PRC is fielding 4 teams (also Princeton Racquets – Captain Sree Bhat and the Jersey Slammers (Captain Nilesh Shukla).
Speaking of the Jersey Slammers – they start their first round match in AZ at National Championships tomorrow in the 3.5 18 and over league. The Jersey Slammers have enjoyed and benefited from practicing and competing in the men’s fall/winter USTA 3.5 Men’s League, which started about 4 years ago on Saturday afternoon/evening. The 2021-22 season started last week and will continue through March. Good luck to the Jersey Slammers at Nationals.
