Perhaps the members of the Super Senioritas have anticipated playing at Nationals in the USTA League Championships longer than any team. After winning the local and sectional championships in the USTA 6.0 65 and over division, nationals were cancelled due to CoVid. This summer and fall, they repeated as local and sectional champions and worried that the championships in Surpirse, AZ would again be cancelled. Today, the team’s flight was only delayed because of storms in the midwest and they are ready to compete against Southern California tomorrow at noon and Pacific Northwest at 4 pm.
