Usually Coach Kaptan spends his day developing and training juniors and adults for tournament play. This weekend, he was chosen to represent the NJ in the USTA Middle States Interdistricts at the Merion Cricket Club. Congratulations to Kaptan and his brother, and the honor for Gino Carosella.
So many awesome matches and results at the NJD District League 18 and over Championships today. Good luck to the PRC Sweet Warriors, Glam Slams and Partners, USTA Local League Champions 2.5 and 3.0, who will compete this weekend in the NJD District 18 and over Championships at Veterans Park (Friday) and Community Park Princeton (Saturday). The Professional Tennis Registry has announced with deep sadness the passing of it’s founder, Dennis Van der Meer. Thank you Dennis for sharing your passion and knowledge of tennis instruction – you were the teacher for the teachers. Rest in Peace, Dennis and love to Pat and your PTR family.
An Orange Ball 10 and under tournament was held today at PRC. The boys competed in the morning and the girls competed in the afternoon. Thanks to Dennis and Sean, Tournament Staff, the parents and competitors for making the tournament experience a fun and successful one for everyone.
